My Brother Sir Knights; I am forwarding this email as requested by our Faithful Navigator Tom Flanagan:Brothers, This is plan B of our up coming social event. Due to scheduling problems we have had to change our meeting day to FRIDAY, June 8th, at St. John's in Waynesville. We would not be allowed to have our meeting during the Sat. evening mass sooooo. Stan Finn has worked his magic and set up a nice evening. Men, you can drop your wife(s) off at the (new) church hall at 5 pm (May 8th) and procede to the Old hall for our meeting. This should not take very long (10-15 min) as we only have the election to hold. We then can go on down to be with the ladies for dinner. Dinner is being catered by O C BBq and will include Pulled pork, BBq beans , cole slaw and tea. We will also have cheese trays and beer and wine...all this for only $10. per person. Now here is the big thing!! You need to contact Stan Finn 1-828-246-4652 or email NO later than June 2nd. to let him know IF your coming. This is NOT for his benefit but to be able to let the caterer know how many people to bring food for. Thanks Stan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For any other questions, contact me or Stan. VIVAT JESUS Thomas Flanagan FNWhat better way for all of us Sir Knights and our Ladies to get together meet those that we have not met and have a Good Time and a great BBQ Meal, as well as get what little amount of business taken care of. Brother Finn has gone to great lengths to arrange thie event soooooo, let's support him and the Assembly with a good turn out. Be sure you let Stan know if you will be there so ther will be enough food... VIVAT JESUS! Dick Hamel, FC

DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY:
I HAVE A PRAYER REQUEST..
I'M HAVING A KNEE REPLACEMENT ON THE 28th. OF FEBRUARY. I HAVE PUT OFF THIS SURGERY FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW. IT'S GOT TO A POINT WHERE THE STEROID SHOTS DON'T DO MUCH GOOD ANY MORE. THE DR. TOOK SOME XRAYS THE OTHER DAY AND IT'S BONE ON BONE. NOTHING LEFT TO DO BUT REPLACE THE KNEE.
I HAVE AN EXCELLENT DR. AND HE IS SURE ALL WILL BE WELL. MY ONLY FEAR IS THAT WHEN HE GETS INTO THE OPERATION HE'LL SAY, LET'S SAVE THE KNEE AND REPLACE THE REST..
WHAT'S A GUY TO DO?? I'M GLAD THAT I HAVE SHIRLEY TO LOOK AFTER ME. SHE'S A REAL TROOPER AND MY BEST FRIEND. SO IF YOU DON'T GET ANY EMAIL FROM ME FOR A WHILE,
IT'S O.K. I'M JUST GETTING FIXED..
THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS..
TCGB HUGS,
DAN
